Control4 brings energy management application and more to Europe
Latest apps to be demonstrated at ISE 2011
London, UK. February 1st 2011 – Control4, a leader in affordable IP-based home control systems, will be demonstrating a range of applications from its 4Store™ marketplace in Europe for the first time at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE). Amongst the applications to be demonstrated at ISE is the new Control4® My Energy app, an energy monitoring tool which allows users to manage their household consumption.

One that we’re particularly enthusiastic about is Control4 My Energy, utilities costs have been rising steadily in recent months and when coupled with increasing environmental concerns, this is the type of application that users will value.”
The Control4 My Energy application works with energy monitoring devices to help homeowners manage their energy consumption. The app offers two views - Dashboard and Electricity Use. In the Dashboard setting, customers can monitor their home’s electricity price per KwH, cost per hour, current use and daily use. In the Electricity Use setting, the user can also view two-hour real-time data, historical data for the week, month and year, and run comparisons of current consumption to previous periods at a granular level, to the extent that it can be plotted to average daily outside temperature. In this way the homeowner is able to identify spikes in usage to adjust their settings and/or routine to save energy and reduce bills.

Multi-Screen Video Wall by Control4
A new multi-screen video wall app allows consumers to control three, five, or seven video screens simultaneously from a single touch screen interface.
Movie Guardian by Green Wave Technology, LLC
Movie Guardian provides parents the ability to password protect films by age rating in their family’s Control4 media database.
Graphic Equalizer by Control4
Graphic Equalizer for Control4 4-channel and 8-channel amplifiers allows users to change volume, bass, and treble. Audiophiles can fine-tune their listening experience using the amplifiers built-in 5-zone parametric equalizer.
Vacation
Users are able to set up an “I’m home” system that schedules lights to turn on and off, sets shades to raise and lower, and can even turn the TV or music on and off.
Wake
The Control4 home automation system gently wakes the user with a favorite song while gradually bringing up lighting levels and raising the blinds.
Organizer by i-Novi (Altran)
A personal assistant application helps users to manage their daily routine including sending shopping lists to email, setting up simple reminders and setting household chores.
