Control4 Named Top Company in the Annual CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis for Whole-House Automation and Control

Culled from responses to the annual CE Pro study, the report serves as an industry evaluation of the brands that are most important to the industry’s highest-revenue generating integrators

Salt Lake City, UT – June 1, 2016 4:05 PM ET – Control4 Corporation (NASDAQ: CTRL), a leading global provider of smart home solutions, was named the top home automation provider in the 2016 CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis.  Pakedge, which was recently acquired by Control4, was named the brand leader for home networks.  Culled from responses to the annual CE Pro study, the report serves as an industry evaluation of the brands that are most important to the industry’s highest-revenue generating integrators.
 
For the second year in a row, the CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis, which polls the largest domestic designers and installers of smart home systems, including audio, video, lighting controls, whole-house controls, security systems, motorized shades and other electronic devices, determined that Control4 is the brand leader for the whole-house automation and control category. Control4 was also named the brand leader in three additional categories: whole-house Audio/Video, access control, and HVAC/thermostats; and named among the leading brands in the categories of lighting control, remote controls, and communications (phones/intercoms). This is the fourth year in a row Pakedge has been named the brand leader for home networks.

According to CE Pro, in 2015, the 100 highest-earning US custom installation companies reached an estimated $2.1 billion in residential revenues. Released today, the 2016 CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis (covering the 2015 calendar year) indicates 60% of the leading home systems integrators use Control4 for automation.
