Control4 Annual Awards Recognize International Dealers Press release

Salt Lake City, UT – February 13, 2018– Control4 Corporation (NASDAQ: CTRL), a leading global provider of smart home solutions, recognized 28 international dealers and distributors with awards for overall installation and business excellence, and highlighted outstanding installation projects in specific categories at its annual reception during Integrated Systems Europe 2018 in Amsterdam.   Twelve dealers were recognized as Dealer of the Year, an award given to those who are exceptional in their business practices and customer relations, as well as at designing and installing Control4 automation systems, Pakedge networks, and Triad audio.

Ferrari Dealership Project

Designed to showcase some of the most stunning vehicles created, the all new Ferrari Maserati dealership in Sydney, Australia, utilizes the latest energy management and water saving techniques to achieve a five-star energy rating. Ferrari needed an automation system that could centralize A/V management and complement both the $20 million building and the cars. Building the System Ferrari's request seemed simple on the surface, but several factors had to be addressed in the system design and integration. Beyond the showroom, the system also needed to account for the vehicle maintenance facility and training room.

One System Makes a Splash Project

It isn't easy to integrate security and door locks, motorized shades, lighting, a home theater, climate control, and eight zones of music into one system...unless you install a Control4© system. One home automation project by Protection & Audio/Video By Design in Williamsburg, Virginia, counted on Control4 to make integration and control of a complex system very simple. Seamless Control Remarkably and despite the setbacks, this project is an excellent example of the seamless, housewide control for which Control4 is so well known. A complete 5.1 Digital Surround Sound Theater located outside by the pool; a dining room table, under-lit with specialty lighting; and timed motorized shades are all automated and controlled via the Control4 platorm.

Control4© products are often used to integrate technologies in unusual settings. But for Audio Video Design (AVD) in Massachusetts, the Control4 platform made it possible to gracefully install a state-of-the-art entertainment solution in a room that took on a whole different scene. Media Scenes The owners of this Newton, Mass., home wanted a home theater in a basement room designed to resemble an antiquated cruise cabin. This theme included the elaborate trim work on the posts and frame panels, as well as the gold-trimmed port hole on the theater door. AVD used the sleek Control4© SR-250 remote to control the lights, projector, games, and blu-ray player, configuring the system with five pre-determined media scenes.
