If I believed everything I'm told, I would have thought that most interior designers had an aversion to all things home automation...especially when it came to lighting control. Ever heard the expression "wall acne"? Luckily, on a recent trip to Denver, a local designer and her husband invited me into their gorgeous home to see first-hand what the new Control4 lighting products can do for someone who takes her aesthetics seriously.  Check out the video below. Kitchen Showroom Project

Synonymous with first-class kitchen planning, SieMatic's recently opened Charleston, South Carolina, showroom features the latest designs combined with the automation technology of Control4. Located on historic King Street, SieMatic displays both classic and modern kitchens, an attractive combination show at its best with the help of Control4. NextGen Technologies Inc., a Control4 dealer, partnered with SieMatic to create an automation system that accommodates the different scenes needed for a design showroom using a Control4 system controller. With six-button keypads at the front and back door, anyone can turn on and off different scenes throughout the showroom, all with a single button.

Through 4Sight, the salon owner can manage the various systems and has plans to integrate her HVAC into the Control4 setup. Matching the Décor The open-ceiling salon design is complemented by rich, hardwood floors, and a mix of light and dark woodwork.

Sony X and W Series TV Lineup Now Control4 “Automation-Ready” Blog

This week, Sony announced their entire 2014 lineup of X and W Series HD and Ultra HD (4K) TVs will ship with Control4 Simple Device Discovery Protocol (SDDP) technology built-in. This integration means that Sony X and W Series TV’s will be automation-ready right out of the box.   Sony has always been a leader in television innovation, and recently has been one of the manufacturers leading the charge in Ultra HD adoption.
